The reason for high temperature

The high temperature of the rotary drilling rig is generally divided into the gearbox (分动箱) temperature too high; the hydraulic oil temperature being too high; the engine coolant temperature being too high (commonly known as high water temperature). The reason for the high gearbox is relatively simple, with the main reasons being bearings or gears and housing dimensions and shapes not meeting the standard, lubricating oil products being unqualified or the oil level being inappropriate,.

 

Excessive hydraulic oil temperature

Firstly, let’s talk about the high temperature, according to hydraulic theory and maintenance experience in recent years, main reason for the high temperature of hydraulic oil is that it produces heat too quickly and dissipates heat too slowly. Loose sealing of the hydraulic pump’s oil inlet pipeline and oil tank, clogging of the oil inlet filter element, unsmooth hydraulic system pipelines, and internal leakage of the hydraulic pump will all cause the hydraulic oil to produce a large of heat, thus rapidly increasing the temperature of the hydraulic oil due to excessive heat production.

Obstruction of the internal channels of the hydraulic oil cooler, excessive dust the outside of the cooler, insufficient wind power, and the hydraulic oil not passing through the hydraulic oil cooler can cause the hydraulic oil to become hot due to slow heat dissipation
