Precise matching strategies for drill bits and drill pipes under different geological conditions
Different geological conditions impose varying requirements on the precise matching of drill bits and drill pipes. In soft soil, as the soil is loose, the cutting ability of the drill bit is less demanding, but it needs good slag discharge performance. A wing-type drill bit can be chosen, paired with relatively light and flexible drill pipes to improve drilling speed and efficiency.
In sandy soil, where the sand is prone to collapsing in the borehole, the drill bit needs good wall protection function. A cylindrical drill bit is suitable, and the drill pipe should have certain strength and stability to prevent tilting during drilling.
