soft soils need different strategies by depth.

For shallow clay (0-20m): Use light scraper bits with low pressure for fast drilling.

For mid-depth loam (20-50m): Switch to heavy spiral bits to boost cuttings removal.

For deep clay with high-pressure water: Use water-stop bits to prevent mud loss.
Over 50m, use “bit + casing” synchronous process. Bits crush soil; casing protects walls. Water well drilling rigs avoid rework with these depth-specific plans.
